Washington Becomes the First State to Legalize Composting of Human Bodies

Yes, if you live in Washington, the topsoil or nursery mix you use to grow your vegetables could contain the remains of uncle Ernie.

It's bound to catch on. Don't know if this is right or wrong, but it's creeping me out.

Is the compost just out in the open? If so, I bet someone with less than pure intentions will use it as a body dump.

Quite a few funeral homes are run by Stewart Enterprises in Metairie. The trick is that you think they're family run businesses when it's far from the truth.
