Was your trip to Walmart trashier than mine today?

This morning my weekly trip was highlighted by the following (in chronological order) :
1. Homeless guy wrapped in bath towel begging for money.
2. Smelly fat bitch in scooter blocking the chips aisle.
3. Girl fussing at boyfriend. Something about not getting paid last week.
4. Saw package of ground beef in the condiments aisle
5. Redneck grandpa (w/ grandma) wearing hat that said "I didn't wake up grouchy this morning, I let her sleep in"
6. Homeless? white lady hitting me up with some story about needing gas after going to a funeral in Florida.

Add in a minefield of unreturned carts with Popeyes boxes left in them and it sounds like your standard WalMarks trip.

We just do the grocery pickup and get our meats and produce at a local store. Never step foot inside

Walmart just said they'll have $9.99 delivery at 40% of their stores by year's end so you won't even have to mess with the clusterfrick that is the Walmart parking lot. While supermarkets are doing some delivery, they're also trying to make themselves nicer and offer more amenities inside to draw customers in. Interesting article in the WSJ here:

I stopped by Walmart a couple of weeks ago to grab a couple of things and was reminded why I avoid that place like the plague. It was like Haiti after the earthquakes.

Is it ironic that you are cracking on people shopping at Walmart.....while shopping at Walmart. Did it every occur to you you might be one of those people to someone else? Just sayin'...

Oh, I failed to mention in the OP that there was nothing better than an OT 4 in there. (which is a bit low. typically at least one OT 7 or so)

Publix now does delivery here too. So if I'm not doing walmart pickup I'll do the latter.
