The other stuff was fantastic, and some of it also forms part of iconic cinema (Trainspotting immediately comes to mind, but there are others). I think even a short film and some 90s indy movies were made based upon a song or two of theirs.
The band was too much for mainstream USA. Too much, too early (like the NY Dolls). As always, this market tends to catch up, once done and dusted.

It’s literally not an instrument. I guess I can do musician because they create music. It’s not like the word is “instrumentalist.”

Shania and Mutt shared a hot tub with me (and a couple of others) in Aspen. Since the rule was "no clothese," I saw Shania in all her glory. It was a nice as you might expect, though clearly there had been some surgical intervention (that I would grade a B+).
She checked me up and down and, was I the type of man who hits the town with married women (I'm not), it was clearly there for the taking. She clearly was impressed with what she saw.
I'd seen and been with much better so I was not acting the fool when she doffed her bikini (which did not exactly leave much to the imagination).
Those were the days.
Edit: This sounded a little arrogant, which was not my intention.
