You clearly hate the guy more than cnn because you believe in the biggest issue of his presidency he is getting up there, lying, and failing in his duty to the American people.

Really? Quote the post where I said he lied, or admit you're a lying POS. You said that, idiot. Not me.

I will await your link and quote.

Trump clearly thinks and says this is a big deal. Either you think he’s an idiot (he’s killing the economy and potentially his re-election over this) or he’s lying.

I think a couple of places had it bad like Hong Kong. But not didn't infect anywhere close to what this coronavirus is doing.

That was also when Facebook was first coming out. No Twitter, no smart phones, none of this out of control click bait media with ads and paywalls.

Wasn't a big deal over here.

How many millions contracted the flu? Put it in caps for all of us too.

Even still, high early-season vaccination rates and a relatively effective annual vaccine appeared to help suppress illnesses. In total, the CDC estimates that up to 42.9 million people got sick during the 2018-2019 flu season, 647,000 people were hospitalized and 61,200 died. That’s fairly on par with a typical season, and well below the CDC’s 2017-2018 estimates of 48.8 million illnesses, 959,000 hospitalizations and 79,400 deaths.

2018-10 flu season longest in 10 years.

Did I say 34,000 died in the 2018-18 flu season?

I was WRONG!

61,200 died.

So you think Trump is an idiot on the biggest issue of his presidency? Sound a lot like CNN. Might as well call you Acosta

But how come the hospital isn’t full during flu season?

Because we see the common flu each year and know how and have medication to treat it. We’re still in the learning stages with covid19 and learning how to treat it and how it’s spread so fast

How do you think Trump and his administration has handled this?

The death rates are higher with Covid than the regular flu. I don't think that's really debatable. Have we overreacted? Possibly.

He's done great.

Let's be honest. They forced his hand. Overreaction? Of course. Why? He is beating those pushing the overreaction (Dems and media) at their own game.

Trump will come out of this looking like the conquering hero.

Only way he doesn't get reelected? Dems literally steal the election.

The path he is taking is the only path open. Easy to say, "we were safe rather than sorry" when it is all over.

Hard to say, "I was wrong and a million died" if this does blow up (it won't).

You're right.

61,200 dead Americans from the flu in 2018-19.

How many dead Americans so far?

CDC revised those numbers down. 2018-2019 was ~34k
