Was Chris Kyle a racist?

Wether the Superdome story about Katrina is made up or not, to sit atop the Superdome and mow down Americans (which we all know the demographic he was referencing) tells his true feelings of hate towards a people not a nation. What does the OT think about this?

When enlisting he swore to protect his country from all threats foreign and domestic. If any of this is true and he was given orders from his CO, then he was just shooting the targets identified as threats.. he cannot control the color of the targets.
