Thanks and his mom is trying to have his funeral next Saturday but I don't know if they will get that or not.

I REALLY hope it was an accident so your family can get over it quicker. All I was trying to say earlier is it doesn't look good based on what we know. I wish you the best though!

Quit being a little punk. We get it. No one likes drunk drivers, especially you. And also, no one likes people who jump to conclusions, especially you.

Don't be an idiot and read my posts. I have said I hope he wasn't driving drunk so the family can deal with it easier and also be happy nobody else was hurt if he was.

Thanks and like I told my wife even our love ones make mistakes and everything you do have consequences and whatever the police report say and the autopsy say that is what the truth is going to be and her family understand that.

We all screw up and like I said it is a tragedy and as much as his loss will hurt your family but at least nobody else was seriously hurt and the family won't have to deal with that burden as well.

Yea I told my wife early this morning really shooked me up and knowing how great of a guy he was and for that to happen to him. Then I thought about his mom and what she is going through and me being a dad to my 5 year old son just crushed me. I just can't imagine if I was in her shoes right now. I told my wife we really need to appreciate our love ones and don't take nothing for granted. I gave my son a big hug and kiss and told him I love him.

What if someone walked out in front of him and he swerved to avoid hitting them?
There is a neutral ground separating the traffic lanes but it's a real narrow one , he could have been run off the road over to oncoming traffic or could have had a medical issue who knows , either way sorry for the op loss it's always tragic to lose someone no matter the cause ....

but i am having trouble finding sympathy for him in the situation you described
Good grief. Couldn't you have left that one alone?

I hope the family gets answers whatever they are. I know I would want to know every little bit of information I could get not that it would change a thing, but so I could try to understand what made him decide to drive at that time and to be able to deal with whatever happened. Sounds like he lost control of the vehicle for some reason.

All of us dads should do this if we haven't lately.
