No one cares for political purposes, whatever happened happened, maybe dude shouldn't have been doing criminal shite and reaching for his gun subsequently since that's the only evidence that exists regarding this

I agree but he didn't seem aggressive up to the point that he was tased.

They were called to a man waving a gun. They’re not going to take any shite from him knowing what he likely has on him (which he did).

Did he make aggressive movements towards the officers?

I'm asking because I didn't see this in the video. Before seeing this I thought he had lunged at ,or swung on the officers.

Hey were called to the scene of a known violent convicted felon threatening people with a gun, this wasn’t a traffic stop. Glad he’s off the skreets baw.

You are asking because you are attempting to virtue signal at 3 in the morning!

Should he have gotten tased? Maybe maybe not if you think he was complying... but reaching for a weapon is an act of aggression.

PCP is an amazing drug.
Look up what it does to people under the influence of it

quote:The dude was LOADED selling illegal CD’s with a gun. Im not saying that things couldnt have been handled differently... but the race card was wrongly brought into a scenario with a guy who was doing something illegal at the time of his downfall. People need to know that when cops come into play, you need to comply. The whole Alton Sterling campaign is a bad example for younger black kids who think cops are bad. Alton would be alive if he wasnt doing what he was doing.....

As i’ve always been taught, you play dirty games, you get dirty rewards, no matter if you are white, black, yellow, or Barney’s color...

They tazed him and he kept going. pretty aggressive.

To say the police couldve handled it better is true, but it also couldve been handled better by Sterling. High and you're armed with a concealed weapon and 2 Cops roll up on you, playing dumb, not complying and reaching for the gun really increases your %'s that you wont survive.

And upvoting himself, to boot.

I think he 100% got tackled because they were there for a man waiving a gun. Would you agree with that?
So I think the cops were messing around less because of that.
I also think considering his size, he looked to be doing less but that doesn't matter.
Say that's a 145 lb person than the cops probably are able to control him easier. It would take a lot more visible effort to avoid them too.
So sure he wasn't going all out to attack them, but the circumstances and his size absolutely play into it.

When he takes his hands off the car, turns toward the officer and pulls his arm out of the officers grasp each of those actions is “resisting arrest.” Doing those things when being arrested for getting in a bar fight is one thing, doing those things when you are being arrested for illegally carrying a firearm and having pointed it at someone is another. The fact that Alton knew he was armed and the police officers knew he was armed makes this an entirely different situation. He knew damn well what was up and his intentions must be perceived as hostile when he does anything but comply with the officers commands. You can’t say “let’s let him do what he wants and he probably won’t pull that gun out of his pocket and kill me or my partner.”

Yes he was just like he always did before
You don’t have to “aggressively” resist police in order to be resisting police officials.
