I did. From a weeping willow.

That would have been me!! You only pick the smallest limb once.....Trust me!! I do not know all the facts in this situation, but atleast if anything he is concerned about his sons behavior. Did he go to far?? Maybe, maybe not. I have had welps on my legs, butt, ect... But it made me a better person.

but did you ever have to go pick out the instrument of your torture?
Often. Had to walk the line line between stiff enough not to break, and tender enough not to hurt. It was a science.

they don't upset me, but you've got to be the easiest mark on here for getting your panties in a knot, it's just mind boggling to me how that can work with being an attorney

You ain't kidding. My grandparents had a peach tree in the front yard. And god help you if you didn't come back with a big enough switch.

I'm not an attorney.
Fail number 2 in this thread. Think you can go for the trifecta?

I wasn't there and have not seen the pics. No father should beat up their kids but I have no problems with spankings using a switch.
From the sound of it, he may have gone too far.

Let me be clear - I BELIEVE MORE PARENTS SHOULD INFLICT A LITTLE PAIN TO REINFORCE THEIR RULES.
That being said, a grown person has to show restraint to get it right. A.P. went to far. Keep in mind that this is a 4 year old child. Here is a quote to consider:
"A doctor inspecting the boy's injuries, which included multiple lacerations to his thighs and cuts on his hand, called them 'child abuse'"
This is a pic of the child. Note the scab. This is after 4 days I believe.
The question for me is should the NFL be into their private lives to this level. If you think that whuppin was bad imagine how that kid's life is going to change when daddy has to go to work at McDonalds.

Sounds like he whipped dat arse to much. The punishment does not fit the crime though. I remember my parent's telling me to pick the switch (tree branch) that would bring pain. Oh good times.

Nobody accused me of being an attorney either. .. what an odd thing to accuse someone of, btw.
So it seems your fail trifecta is complete in this thread. Hopefully you can now spread your stupidity to other threads before the day is finished.
God speed, moron.

kid was 4.
he was beat for cursing.
I will bet my life savings of about $3.50 that AP listens to Rap music around his kids.
Four year old cursing? Look to the parents.

as reliable as an atomic clock

Actually atomic clocks aren't individually accurate. The data from all of them is averaged together in France about a week later for the accurate time.
