Have you tried watching Seth Meyers or Stephen Colbert ?? Im a registered Independent who’s politics are somewhere in the middle, so im not even judging their content.. but just because you *agree* with the political slant of Walton & Johnson doesnt make it any more palatable, or ‘okay’ .. it just takes away from the humor whenever you dip into the political cesspool, in either direction .

In the rare instance when political humor is funny, it’s b/c it razzes all sides of the spectrum, and doesnt just present one specific point of view…. im old enough to remember a guy named Johnny Carson.. you can do a deep dive on google, read his biographies et al and get an idea of his political leanings.. but he made fun of all sides equally and you would NEVER know how he voted based on his monologues…. If you can show me an instance where W&J picked on Trump or Dubya et al NEARLY as much as they roasted Obama or Biden or whoever, then ill reconsider .

I just wish the critics would be honest and admit that due to their political beliefs, they do not like them. I mean I would hate a show that continually proved that my beliefs are awful.
