UPDATE, Wed., 6 p.m.: The Fraternal Order of Police has now sent a similar request to Amazon.com. Amazon did not respond to a request for comment.
ORIGINAL POST: The president of the national Fraternal Order of Police, the country’s largest police organization, on Tuesday asked Walmart to stop selling t-shirts and sweatshirts which say “Black Lives Matter” and “Bulletproof” on the department store’s website. On Tuesday night, Walmart said it would remove the shirts which say “Bulletproof,” but not the “Black Lives Matter” shirts.

Why would they remove "Black Live Matters" shirts.......have you seen who shops at Walmart? They cater to the demo. Stupid request.

You should read your own quote

what's your point? Walmart wouldn't stop selling that kind of shirt either.

It would be interesting if they sold several different shirts side by side:
1) Black Lives Matter
2) Blue Lives Matter
3) All Lives Matter
You would think that would be the best way to inoculate yourself against criticism - but I suspect they would just double the anger they received.

OP is a commentary on the hypocrisy of what the OT considers snowflakes. In other words , when liberals protest they are snowflakes. When it's a protest with which the OT or agrees they are all behind it. You know, "you can protest but for only things which I also support "
And who would I be racist against anyway?

The nature of perspective is that opinions from your own side are filled with righteous integrity whereas opinions from the opposite side of the aisle are shrill and uncivil.
This is the fundamental problem with governing free speech with things like hate speech. It depends on an interpretation of emotional intent of the person speaking and the emotional impact on the person listening. As JS Mill pointed out a long time ago we all have a natural tendency to discard opposing viewpoints as uncivil (hateful) - especially on issues which are important to us. Essentially meaning that the regulation of speech is doomed to rapidly destroy all important speech.

The Political Talk went nuts when Walmart stopped selling the confederate flag last year. For some reason I can't insert the link though, presumably because the thread is locked.
