WAFB-TV's Corporate ownership was recently sold to a "cut-every-expense" TV group. One wonders if Ms. Mercedes saw the budget-cutting handwriting on the wall, and if so, good for her.

They have Paducah with cape Girardeau and some town in Illinois. I'm guessing this means you can pick up Paducah over the air from cape with a decent antenna.

Jacques is by far the goofiest, most awkward guy in local sports though. I’m convinced he’s behind the spoof Jim Hawthorne twitter account. He tries so hard with that shite.

I’m down. I don’t hate the guy by any means. I’ve met him at at his softball event and he’s no doubt a nice dude. But he’s also cheesy. That’s that the discussion I was replying to was about. It was about local newscasters being cheesy, not about how nice they are.

Yeah really. Some of these people just need to go to Houston and see for themselves how many have moved from Louisiana to Houston over the years, it's staggering. They love taking advantage of better paying jobs, no state income tax, great schools, no tax on groceries, cheap electric, car insurance is half, etc...
