Its been brought up countless times. Hell, it was brought up again during this recent killing. Its been 5 years and no one at the party or anywhere wants to talk. What else do you want the people of south BR to do?

If the victim were a 21-year-old black woman who was finishing up her degree from Southern, it would not nearly garner this same response. It's asinine to claim it would.

First off, are you really acting like violent crime in Baton Rouge hasn’t been a huge topic of discussion on this board for several years now? It comes up just about every day. People have been fed up with it for quite some time. This is not new.

It’s the entire reason people are concerned about rising crime rates in the first place - the fear that what started as “NBR being NBR” turns into somebody’s family member being murdered. Yeah, it hits closer to home when it’s a white girl from Dutchtown as opposed to a gang banger from Chippewa Street. So if your point is “people care more when somebody who could be their wife/sister/daughter gets killed” then again.. no shite, Sherlock.
Yeah, it’s a tipping point for a lot of folks where their frustration with Murphy Paul’s police force turns into outrage. None of this should be surprising and I don’t know why anyone would act like that outrage is misguided.

What a fricking worthless “point” you’re trying to make. If you (or anyone else) are outraged about a particular unsolved murder, then make as much hay about it as you possibly can. Find me the unsolved murders that people are outraged about that you can’t generate sufficient additional outrage about and what you are doing to advance the cause. Otherwise you’re just a worthless loser without a point.
