The one's I think that were shot by the cops are the one's who were shot from behind and above.

so what if they were, what if that person was engaged in firing guns at other people and the only way for the cops to save someone's life was to shoot the gangster from behind?

You don't know that they were firing at anyone or if they were even armed. They Waco PD has not released any information about who was armed or with what. They didn't even identify who had GSR on their hands. It's pretty fricking simple to tell if someone has GSR on their hands. If they had time to tell who had drugs in their systems, they had time to tell who actually fired a weapon in the fight. That being the case, why are they silent on that matter?

you dont either but we do know from one of the autopsy reports that five unfired bullets were recovered from the left front pocket of Richard Matthew Jordan II vest.

See... If I was a cop... and saw somebody firing a weapon at another person or persons (like another biker, for example)... I would think it wouldn't matter where I was positioned (in front of or behind) - I would take the shot to prevent further loss of life even if that life wasn't mine. This is what police snipers are for. I don't see why that isn't what happened based on everything I've seen or read. How many of the deceased had gunshot residue on their hands?

First time I've actually clicked on one of these Waco shootout threads. Went and read about this incident on a few other sites. If these guys (the deceased) were engaged in the shootout then you can't blame the cops for taking them out. If the deceased have no evidence of having shot a gun and were just mowed down (as DV put it) for being there then that is wrong. Biker life style and their associations shouldn't warrant a death sentence. Wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn some innocent people had been taken out by reckless cops.

Which may be the case with the ONE guy that was reported to have no gunshot residue on him.

I'm not saying its impossible that mistakes were made... I'm going with Occam's Razor on this whole thing though. Reduce loss of life was the goal.

Because they are likely trying to match the bullets to the guns who shot those people. Some will be cops, some will be bikers. It's going to be a PR mess all the way around. "How come a cop doesn't get charged for a crime but a biker does.... blah blah blah" Stupid shite like that.

Or the guys killed were shooting at people and somebody came up behind the position at a higher elevation and took 'em out.

Sounds like it to me.

I don't care how they were shot by the cops if they had a firearm or large knife in their hand. I want to know this. If they were unarmed then we have an issue. But officers should be able to take out criminals that are endangering the public from a safe distance

Waco Police Chief Brent Stroman said in June that three Waco officers fired a total of 12 rounds that day.
