Wasn't it written by Dominican nuns? And I think I read the guy found an abortion potion in there. If so, no wonder they wrote it in slang. Might get burned at the stake!

Yea, I've been watching documentaries on it and somewhat keeping up with it when new things are found out or new people take an attempt at it.
It would be quite a feat if this guy did in 2 weeks what some of the best minds in the world haven't been able to do in 500+ years. Damn impressive.

The most difficult part of the whole thing was figuring out what language it was using as its base for the code. I imagine there are less than 300ppl on the planet who are proficient in speaking proto-romance... and only a small percentage of those would recognize it in written form. The guy who "broke it" just happened to be one of those people.
