I've always wondered why Volvo hated tail lights. They always make them look like shite.

Volvo has had cars with style before.

Simon Templar (The Saint) drove a P-1800, that car had style.

Prior to the late 1990s, Volvo made a safe and reliable car without a lot of frills or even style- "they're boxy but good."

They got away from that and now try to compete with Audi and BMW. I like their old philosophy better.
