Volunteer Organizations in Baton Rouge

Looking for some good volunteer organizations to refer someone to in Baton Rouge. The person is male and in his 50s. Has some random weekdays off so looking to to help fill some of that time.
A little about him is he is into cars and is somewhat handy.

My son volunteered at the LSU Food Pantry but they only have student volunteers. There is a Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Most churches have a volunteer group that helps older or less fortunate church members with items around their house. Could be yard work, house maintenance/repairs etc.

St. Vincent De Paul. I've sorted donated food, prepared meals, etc for the homeless.
