Serious question, where do all of these statues go after their removal?
As someone said, they should leave the statues but replace the plaque. It would be cheaper and not “deleting history”
“Here is Andrew Jackson. He owned a bunch of slaves, hated Indians and won some fairly significant wars for this country.”

Virginia removes a statue of man who chose it over his country.
if you asked him, he'd tell you Virginia WAS his country.
the idea of a monolithic US was forcefricked in place with reconstruction after the war.

that's sort of the mindset behind the idiocy of trying to rewrite history and apply today's PC, bleeding vag, snowflake lunacy to mores of a couple of centuries ago

Lee was supporting the US Constitution and a States right to secede. The reason he wasn't tried as a Traitor was because the US would have had to admit the war to keep the South in the Nation was unconstitutional. But thanks for your ignorance

What are the odds OP criticized Trump for trying to remove American troops from Syria during his first term? Muh Kurds! American leftists think our soldiers should die fighting on behalf of secession movements on the other side of the world, but when it comes to their own country, any attempt to peacefully break away is deemed treason and monuments to it need be destroyed. The height of hypocrisy.

They want us to be their good unquestioning foot soldiers.
We should stop serving again. And let them do the fighting instead.
