A violent weekend in New Orleans ended with four people dead and 15 others injured in 12 separate shootings, police said. The first shooting happened late Friday night, and the latest one was reported just before midnight Sunday.

Just before midnight, NOPD reported two men were shot at the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Columbus Street for the 12th of the weekend. Both men were taken to a hospital, one by ambulance and the other by private conveyance.

Four more people were shot in the 600 block of South Lopez Street late Sunday evening, and around the same time NOPD reported a man was shot in the 2000 block of Egania Street. A lot more on the link , to many to list... I’m sure the social workers will have it under control before next weekend

And that's just Phase 2. Wait until those thugs are given the Phase 3 green light.

Feels like summer outside. It's just what happens when temps rise in the 504. Expect vehicle theft and burglaries to rise as well.

Chicago has a lot of murder but also a much larger population. I think the murder rate is higher in Nola and BR.
