My grandfathers ship was sunk.
He was in a life raft with 3 guys on north Atlantic for 3 weeks. Shell of himself. Died within a year.
My dad served as pilot in ww2.
Wounded over Italy 26th day raid.
Volunteered flew glider 82nd airborne Normandy.
2 silver stars, 10 bronze stars, two purple hearts later was not the same when he got home.
I had to live with him. My sisters still can't believe the constant raft of aggressive shite he dealt me.
We all have crosses to bear.
Look in the mirror. Its on you.
You don't get to control the world, just your own psyche.
