Dashcam video released this week shows a Chicago police officer purportedly shooting into a car of teenagers more than a dozen times.
A retired Cook County judge who called the incident “disturbing on a whole different level" released the footage to the Chicago Reporter. The video allegedly shows a Chicago police officer firing at a vehicle near 95th and South LaSalle streets on Dec. 22, 2013.

Of course he's holding his gun sideways. Thug
of course two years later and the investigation is incomplete. This cop has had several complaints of brutality.

Should have done what they were told

A car is a deadly vehicle. He responded in proportionate force.

Someone needs to shoot him a few times?

Don't laugh. That will be the reason.

I'd normally but that. Except in this case the car was backing away and turning around to leave

A car can be considered a deadly weapon. I'd like to know a lot more about the situation before I comment. If they were being pursued for alleged murder or something I can understand, if this was some low level crime he responded horribly.

Better not come to a rolling stop at a stop sign, right?

Pursued for speeding. Car peeling out backwards to leave
n the nearly three minute dashcam video, Proano arrives at the scene where a vehicle had been stopped by two other officers. Proano is seen approaching the vehicle with his gun pointed sideways, and when the driver of the vehicle puts the car in reverse, he raises his gun and opens fire.

A rolling stop is no such thing. The sign says stop. You don't do it, anything that happens from there on is your fault.

Wtf was the driver thinking?
And the cop said he saw a weapon and the kids say they didn't. Was one recovered?

Looks like they should have complied instead of trying to run

Looks like the car was wedged up against the other cruiser when he pulled up before they tried to drive away...and is facing the opposite direction. I don't think the text in the video is telling us the whole story.

Nope. They were quickly subdued and no weapon

The driver is the only one not doing what he was told. The passengers are hostages in a moving vehicle.

Hostages? They voluntarily got into the car. Just as responsible.
