Hostages? They voluntarily got into the car. Just as responsible.

Getting in a car your buddy stole (no way to prove they even knew) = deadly force?

That cop was just unloading rounds into the vehicle. If you are in the backseat you have no control over what the person in the driver seat does.

Maybe the cop should have parked his car behind them, instead of leaving an opening for them to back up all the while having his gun drawn. I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional

Why don't we just put Mini guns on police cruisers and helicopters and enforce the law gta style

Unarmed teens in a vehicle? Vehicle=deadly weapon. This whole "unarmed" catch phrase is getting ridiculous. Just because a peep is not holding a 45 doesn't mean deadly force isn't justified.

Unarmed? My arse. Black teenager = deadly weapon. Ridiculous that people can't see that.

Except in this case the car was backing away and turning around to leave
And if the car was driven at high speed and killed a 6-year-old, it would have been the cops fault for not disabling the car. Can't win for losing.

Nobody would blame the cop if that happened.

Other than him holding his sidearm sideways, I don't see the problem. Perps tried to run him over.
