With back up cameras... This is a breeze. That only issue is that on coming traffic today either can't wait 10 seconds and starts honking or will come half way up the parking spot you are backing into like he/she is clueless about the maneuver being performed - or both

People are generally getting dumber

I haven’t had to parallel park in probably 20 years. Even if it did make it pretty much automatic, I don’t need a $10,000 option that I’m never going to use.

Agreed, if that was a useful feature, every vehicle would certainly have it by now. Cost is certainly not an obstacle for new vehicles.

Turning the front and rear in opposite directions will reduce the turning radius allowing for sharper turns.
And lots more flipovers.

Yeah. All you need now is a green card. You don’t even have to know a single word of English.

Because people are generally bad at maneuvering in reverse, IMO. They have poor judgement of pivot points, their vehicle’s turning radius, etc.
I habitually back in to parking spots. I wouldn’t say I’m great at parallel parking because I rarely have to do it, but compared to my wife I look like a professional.
People who don’t ever maneuver in reverse try to steer the car into a spot the same way they would if they were going forward, as if they are steering with the rear wheels.
