Gladiator is a weird vehicle that doesn’t do anything well. From the side it looks too long & out of proportion. I wouldn’t purchase one anyway because Chrysler sucks ars but they should’ve made a 2door variant. Would look much better.

Consumer Reports just told everyone that wanted a Tacoma to buy a Ridgeline instead because the new turbo Toyota products suck. I would get a Frontier, Colorado, or Ranger before the Gladiator but there are clearly worse products now (Tacoma being it).
But I don’t want a minivan Ridgeline, I want a Tacoma because it looks a lot better than the rest & at least Toyota actually fixes their issues. Ranger & GM have sucky turbo engines too but I guess people are used to their quality issues. Ford just recently snuck in a brand new transmission in Ranger cause the other one sucked so bad. Word of wisdom…never buy first couple years of a brand new model or powetrain.

Not gonna keep going back and forth with you, but I will say that you are getting your info off the internet, we know how reliable that is. I am getting mine because I work in the industry for the company. There are instances of all sorts of failures for every vehicle out there. You can’t pick one that I couldn’t find negative material on. In this case you simply are out of your depth.

Stay away from AMC products , unless you have a late 60s Javelin, then I'm interested
You can see all the old AMC cars at their museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin. They were trash vehicles but it’s very interesting.

It suits what I need it do:
Can be flat-towed as an automatic
Is a true 4WD
4 doors
No spare tire blocking reciever
I'll be the first to admit, I'm in the minority

Cannot argue how nuts that is, but they MSRP at over $100 now.
Posting Koons Jeep in VA for OP, bought a 2016 there back in the day for 7% under invoice. If you are willing to travel, they do some really good deals in Jeeps

Uh, they made the Jeeps known for reliability and ruggedness. CJ-5, CJ-7, Scrambler, etc.

Awful vehicle. Steer clear, pun intended.

We were talking about the cars not utility vehicles. By the way They didn’t have any of what you mentioned on display in the museum when I went.

Colorado only comes with a turbo 4 cylinder now.

Of course I'd expect a company man to recommend his employer. The Gladiator has had problems since 2020 with death wobble and other issues. Those might be fixed on 2025 models. The OP didn't say if he was buying new or used. So i mentioned past and current issues.

Likely new, as long as I can get the 6.
