It takes a particular temperament to do the detail. I have a friend whose done model stuff I'd never even think about doing. I think it has something to do with respect and loyalty for the subject. JMO.
Excellent work.

We’ll, I’m a level IX History Nerd, so I do love and respect the subject.

The men that piloted these planes, the greatest generation, were a huge part of my life when I was growing up. These men left me with memories I will never forget. This is what the current generation is lacking.

Have you ever thought about selling any of your finished products?

The last model I did before this P-51D was a British Mk. III Valentine Infantry Tank. And just a few weeks ago I finished a Russian IS-2.

FW-190?
That's my favorite war bird.
Great coming from an Alabama fan. You must like it because it's sort of attractive and claims a lot of battle victories that didn't win the actual war. I'm biased coming from a Navy family, but the Hellcat, the Corsair, the P-38, and you come up with the FW-190? What? Spitfire? Hurricane?

Tell me again how great they were in the Battle of Britain, Leningrad, or Stalingrad. I also missed them against their performance against the 555th in WWII. You must just like the paint job.
I can conjure up equipment respect for the MG34 and MG42, but that's about it. Aces High.
