The M26 Pershing is a heavy tank, later designated as a medium tank,[nb 1] formerly used by the United States Army. It was used in the last months of World War II during the Invasion of Germany and extensively during the Korean War. The tank was named after General of the Armies John J. Pershing, who led the American Expeditionary Force in Europe during World War I.

Thanks. This one was an interesting build. It actually had working suspension. Took a lot of patience to do. But pretty cool nonetheless the less.

I really like the builds that you do and they look awesome. As a kid, me and my dad would build WW-II aircraft models and just put the stickers included in the box on them. We didn't have a local shop that had paints or custom stuff, just what came in the model box.

I haven't put a model together in a long time (did big lego projects with my kids but not models). Just a question. On your next build, would you mind showing the pieces right out of the box, just laid out and a couple of in progress pictures before the final pictures. I think it would help people that have never tried, realize the work that goes into a model.

Thank you.

Sure. I’ll be glad to post some “WIP” pictures. I have a X page dedicated to my models where I always post those as well as my completed builds. If you have X, here’s my last post from this build.

I have my next kit on the desk now. It’s an Academy 1/72 scale JU-87. I’ll start it Saturday or Sunday unless something comes up.

Awesome build. Love the dust weathering look. What did you use to color the periscopes? I’m currently working on Takom’s 150 ton Japanese IO tank. The tracks on the kit are a pain!
