Greatly enjoy all your work but especially the aircraft models.

Someday I hope you'll do a USMC Phantom F4.

How many models do you make a week?

Cool hobby.

Usually I only build on weekends so it will take 2-3 weeks. But I took yesterday and today off so I finished this particular one in roughly 18-20 hours, not in one setting of course.

I built an F4 about a month or so ago. It was Navy though. I generally don’t do post-WWII kits. The only reason I had that one is because it was shipped wrong on an order from Amazon. The shipper was cool about it though once I contacted them. They not only shipped the correct kit, but let me keep the Phantom for free.

My model room is where I build and display them. It’s really a small extra bedroom.

I wonder if these had self-sealing tanks or did they burn like most other Jap planes.

I can’t say for 100%, but I believe it did have them.

Pretty cool. Is that all unbuilt kits stacked?

When are you going to start dioramas?

Yep. That’s my stash. Some kits have come and gone since this pic. But overall the stash has grown. Think I have just north of 50 kits.

Probably never. I’m not really interested in doing them and they take up too much space.

Mix in a few destroyers or maybe an Essex Class Aircraft Carrier, you can park your air plane models on it. think it would be a cool addition to the collection.

When you do your wear/tear/weathering, do you study any old photos or do you just put your own educated spin on it? I know a couple of model railroad dudes and they model for a certain period and put a lot of research into studying old photos (for weathering purposes).

Your stuff looks great by the way.
