It's not possible to be racially offended by what the Kentucky player said, so it's not really a double standard.
If he had called him "honkey" with no repercussions that would be a double standard.

Well they should be better off than the poorest parts of Africa, because they live in the one of the richest countries in the world. Does that mean we can't do better still? Or should we just say "well we brought their ancestors over from Africa to use them as slaves so they just feel lucky they were born here and not there?"
And I'm not talking about handouts and affirmative action type things. I'm talking about as a society getting to the point where something like affirmative action wouldn't even be thought of as a thing because all people of all races gave all races the same opportunities.
Furthermore I wouldnt expect America to be fully evolved to that point yet since we aren't really that far removed, in the grand scheme of things, from the really abhorrent racism that didn't "end" until the 60's

How is it possible to be racially offended by the use of the same word regarding wifi?
It makes no sense that being black would affect the wireless internet more than white?
