I have never made a claim as said before, never been at fault, but they absolutley have raised my rate every single time I got a speeding ticket. One year they raised it for a "crossing the gore" ticket in stopped traffic. That really pissed me off. I guess that's the one negative thing I could say about them.

I’ve had them for about 15 years. Like others said they aren’t the cheapest but I have done comparisons to other companies and they are just slightly higher. Dealing with a claim is awesome. You talk to someone in Texas or Virginia and they are friendly, down to earth, English speaking, Americans. I use them for car loans, personal loans, banking and credit cards and they are always a pleasure to deal with.
I was familied in by my Dad. When I signed up the guy helping me stopped at one point and asked “Sir we have had you in our system since 1977. Why are you just now calling us?” Guess I’m slow.

We had it for over 20 years. It was great until 6 months ago after moving to Florida. The rates were jacked up. Wife then got two at fault fender benders. They dropped us like a rock. It felt like a slap in the face after all the "for all that serve" vrap. Now paying much, much less.

I’ve had it for years and years. It’s the best out there if you qualify. I also bank with them, have investments with this, a credit card and so,e other things.
It’s a Vet staple.

I've had it almost 30 years now on auto and homeowners. I won't even bother looking at another company. When you file a claim they are quick to service and easy to deal with. I felt like they've always had my back, even hail storms I experienced within 2 weeks of each other, where other companies were screwing clients for double deductibles.

Great for car insurance. They were dicks about my roof when I wanted homeowners, so I went with AAA there.

Get it with USAA. They may not be the cheapest but if you ever need it it’s damn good and the service is good.
Plus you can easily qualify for their other products.

My MS IV instructor at LSU told us to get USAA...one of the fun things about being a old fart now is that I get two checks a year from my Subscribers Savings Account (that's what they call the fund that the rebates come from)...
most years you'll get some sort of refund, but if you stay around long enough, you get the senior member distribution as well...
been with them since I was a MS IV cadet at LSU, and my daughters are with them as well (through me)

I have had auto insurance with them ever since I bought my first car while in the army and I have had renters insurance on my apartment with them for years. They’ve taken care of me when I got in accidents (none were my fault), but they’d pay the damages and then go after the at fault party’s insurance to recoup the costs. I have a checking and savings account with them, but I use another bank as my primary. I also have a cc with them, but I find they don’t do auto CLI as much as I’d like.
It’s still weird to be called “SPC Parmen” but other than that, it’s amazing. Plus they actually have a good phone app too.

Highly recommend. I had a check for the truck I lost in Katrina within a week. COMPLETELY had my back when the house flooded in 2016. Heard horror stories of other insurance companies playing games. USAA takes care of you.

Forgot about that. I get a check every year from then... few hundred dollars.

Colorado Springs? They have repaired nearly $50K in damages to my home there after two different hail storms. Those two alone have reimbursed me for everything I have paid them over the years.
As soon as my two older children went to LSU, I contacted them to set up a bank account for them with USAA. They have always been there for me when I need them.

If you ever need to make a personal injury UM claim they will fight you to the death.

Actually switched this year for home and auto. Only thing I’m not thrilled about is the 2% deductible on homeowners for things like a new roof.

What are you talking about? I have never received an end of year check from USAA
Used to get them all the time, but they have changed how they apply it.
Love USAA

Must be on that same plan as I've never seen any deposits etc. Thank you
Mine just popped into my checking account.

Ive had USAA since 2006. They are always straight forward and the price isn't bad. Their interfaces are very user friendly, I recommend.

USAA isn't what it was 10 years ago, IMO. The service is top notch but the rates kept climbing.
