Every Team USA certified coach has to attend the training prior to being allowed to work as a Juniors coach.
I've taken the training. It's actually really informative and well done. Shows you how to recognize patterns of abusive behavior, appropriate/acceptable player/coach conduct and what to do if you see something wrong
Clearly this coach did pay much attention

Not just sexual abuse, other abuse as well.
Its basically the handbook for coaches. Someone has made some formal allegations that the association needs to look into. So this is not even a police matter at this time, its likely that it is not sexual abuse even as the police would likely be involved or maybe they are and we don't know it.
Issues like Hazing, verbal abuse, sexual abuse, etc. are all covered in Safesport. Its basically common sense.
