Seems to me people are complaining about the false sense of virtue the rest of the country has. When in reality, the most successfully integrated society is here in the south.

Read what I was originally responding to shithead. I am completely right. Federal Gov intervention was required to dismantle the White Democrat political apparatus which disenfranchised Black Americans for a century after they had won their freedom.

You understand this is a map that represents the percent of a county that is Black Americans, not the total number, right? Take for example Dallas County, Alabama, with 38k people, with 26k being Black Americans. It will be represented as darker on the map than a place like Seattle, where Black American households represent something like 7 or 8 percent of the population. The total population of Black Americans in those areas (namely cities where Black Americans were not immediately disenfranchised during the post-CW era) will exceed the population of rural counties where Black Americans may represent a higher total of the population. What this means is that Black Americans did move in large numbers to industrial centers in the North and West, often in greater numbers than the entire population of the counties from which they originated. How are you not understanding this?

Several large cities in the US are completely integrated. The US has done a great job at integration, partly thanks to Fed Gov intervention forcing White Southerners to behave. Sometimes you need a civilizing influence. Thankfully, the South had that.
