and this was not inevitable, whoever has been in charge of Afghanistan for the past year since a deal was made to leave fricked up colossally. Biden made the call to go ahead and withdrawal overnight, so he deserves all the blame that comes with that.

An acquaintance of mine literally tried to blame the mess on Trump when I talked to him a few days ago. Said Trump signed the order to remove troops.
I kindly explained that the hot button issue wasn’t the removal of troops, but how it was to be done. You don’t leave billions of dollars in weapons and technology laying around. You don’t leave classified documents laying around. You don’t evacuate military overnight and leave civilians.
His only response was that this was a no-win situation. These lefties are clueless.

It wasn’t inevitable you fricking dumbass. Get the civilians out first, then the troops. And don’t haul arse from strategic positions that would help you in the evacuations.

there is no way they can truly believe this is trumps fault. Trump started the ball rolling to get troops out of there, which is a good thing.
