No one forced them at gunpoint to attend expensive colleges and take loans out.

They could have gone in the military. Worked full time at a job that offered tuition reimbursement and gone to school part time. Gone to a cheaper community college for basic prerequisite classes then switch to a different college depending on their major, etc, etc.

So "free" college for all would work better? At least TOPS had some sort of standards.

Not really. I have like 5%...

10% would be better when payments aren't made on time.

I wish that wasn't so, but no one will do what it takes to stop income inequality so that is how it has to be.

As long as the wealthy 1% hogs all the wealth, then the majority will vote to take some of it away.

How much of your trust fund money do you redistribute to poor people?

These are the same people who benefited from TOPs, had zero student loan because of the program, and then whine about a federal program to make public college "free" for any one who qualifies.

Logic, not even once

Maybe they would be more manageable if some of these worthless fricks actually paid the loans back. They're giving out high-risk, no collateral loans to a group of people that don't want to repay them. Sure let's drop it down to 1% on that interest rate.

Happens all the time in the medical community. What's my son going to do when MacKenzie doesn't pay for her $10K double d's? Rip them out?

What's my orthopedic going to do? Knock me down and re-tear my ACL/MCL?

One would still need to qualify for school, dumbass

It's more difficult to get into LSU than it is to receive TOPs

Isn't your family wealthy?

Are you like that dumb bitch on tv that was saying college should be free by taxing the 1%(yet her family is wealthy). And that news anchor basically called her out for being an idiot that didn't know what she was talking about. Link anyone?

I never claimed that. I've never said how much income I have. Roger, my dad doesn't pay for anything (except for occasional gifts). I have my own money.

OK, dumbass. And what do you think a lot of these schools are going to do once they realize that the federal govt is going to guarantee them payment for all those "free" college educations?

They're going to lower their standards to get paid. Not to mention the fed govt will probably institute some of their own rules since they're paying the bill (with our tax dollars). They'll want to make sure plenty of unqualified students get in based simply on their racial makeup.

Don't act like a program for "free" tuition wouldn't get abused to hell and back in this fricking country.

I gave $21,400 to charity last year. So, I'm not just talking.

Why did LSU raise their standards then since TOPs was free?

According to your logic, the opposite should have happened...

I manage my money (with professional help). And, again, I never claimed what I make in income. I pay a lot of taxes too - almost $40,000 in property taxes on my house (Texas has high property taxes).

Almost as much as she sends to Jenny McCarthy.
