To this day, the DOJ said, Berger receives a pension from Germany for his past employment in the country, including his "wartime service."

This is a pretty big line to cross.

How many Americans have been tried for guarding concentration camps filled with Japanese Americans during WWII?

If you applied the Nuremberg standards to every American President since FDR, they'd all be guilty of crimes against humanity. We export more violence around the world than any nation on Earth, even those over whom we claim moral superiority.

I wasn't remotely speaking to the equal application of justice under the law, only to the reason for the deportation. I think most anyone with an iota of common sense understands that to the victors go the spoils.

Everyone knew how the war was ending in 1945. If he wanted to be a good German patriot he could have gone to the front lines or worked in a munitions factory. Instead he became a camp guard. frick him

Not surprised you can't even attempt a real response.

Then why were you referring to "crimes" and "ethical discussion" on "expected behavior"?

If they are wasting time deporting a frail old kraut for working for the Furher, what do you think is gonna happen to those who supported President Trump once AOC and her ilk seize further control?

I have no idea how long he has been awaiting trial or has been under suspicion.

My point was that he was convicted and ordered to be deported under Trump, so I'm not sure why you were bringing Biden into this.

The article also never mentions Biden.
