Uneducated people see the world in black and white

You're showing your true colors.

I am considered a "never trumper" on the poli board. You fit right in with those types who see the world in extremes.

I’m not going to get in a back and forth with you because I agree today was unprecedented and emotional for everyone.

It feels like there’s a few groups involved. I’m not a die hard Trump fan, but I’m absolutely for ending Congress people who can be paid off and stay in office for 40-50 years.

End endless terms in Congress. They’re the problem.

no, it’s not carrying the torch for a childish, idealistic libertarian worldview

Actually, that's not the case here. Simply because it's so easy to know who is a Trumper and who isn't. What indications - except not worshipping GEOTUS - defines being a freaking Prog?

I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy of your post. And I'm not a Trump supporter.

I've been called a Trumpkin many times, yet haven't voted for a Republican president since 1996. See the difference?

I'd rather we not to discern intent when something like that is happening. Pretty clear they meant nothing good. They got too far as it was. I know these are your people so you're seeing it differently, but i feel the same no matter who it is. Black white red brown.

Yep. Voted third party myself.
I voted for a Dem for governor.

But don't expect these indoctrinated dweebs to understand.

The voting public needs to scream for this. Also no pay or pensions for lawmakers.

It was my first and last time to vote for a Republican for President. I was going to vote for Trump this past election as a frick you, but couldn't bring myself to break my libertarian voting streak since 2000.

Honestly, why aren't term limits a thing yet? I don't know a single person on either side of the political spectrum that is against this. What will it take for this to become a thing already.

They aren't going to vote in any limits or restraints to their gravy train jobs. By "they" I mean every single one of them. There isn't a single politician or aspiring politician in this country that would vote for such a thing. It would have to be forced by the people, yet the people are far too preoccupied fighting over their favorite letter and believing any of those sacks of shite give a single frick about them.

Two term limits (I used to be against term limits, but have rethought it)

They work remotely from their home state.

Apparently the earlier reporting of the victim being a child was wrong. The victim was a 14-year USAF veteran from San Diego. Below is the article.

Jo was literally the only candidate discussing issues. This election proved people don't care about issues, they just hate the other guy.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that we should not have term limits. There is no sound reasoning that can be laid out why we do not need them. The very idea of "Career Politicians" undermines and delegitimizes our entire system.

Pence reconvened the Senate. Pretty good opening remarks. McConnell speaking now. Also speaking pretty harshly of what happened today. On CSPAN if needed

The argument is that they should not be necessary. It should be up to the voters to vote out politicians who are not representing them.

But as I said earlier, the issue isn't *your* politician. He's a good guy! He does great things for you! The issue is all those mean and nasty *other* politicians!!!

Which is why congress has a sub 10% approval rating yet incumbents generally always win reelection.

"My politician isn't the issue. It's all the other ones!"
