These drivers, sorters, and loaders work their asses off.

IF you were a good worker you could do all 3 of these jobs in the same shift/day and the lazy workers would be supervisor.

Yep, between thanksgiving and new year they all "brown up". Every ups employee gets the brown uniforms regardless of what they are hired to do. During the holidays every person is put to work.

A buddy used to work for them as an accountant - one year he was loading planes for 10 HR days, the next they gave him a truck. The time he had a truck the drivers have to deliver all the packages every day and if they don't know their route then they stay late to finish.

Some drivers don't even take their lunch.

We are the very last stop for our driver. He has dropped off after 10 before.

On my off days, I'll call his cell and see if he has any packages for us and meet him on his route to help him out.

Because of that, our packages are never returned to the hub for delivery the following day.

Those dudes work insane hours this time of year. A lot of UPS and FedEx drivers have to drive rental trucks around the holidays because the companies don't have enough trucks to keep up

Relatively normal this time of year for there to be late deliveries - 2145 is pretty late though, baw. People get killed behind that.

The deliver until their truck is empty. Holidays are tough for them.
