UPDATED: Louisiana posters, how long does it usually take to get your refund?

I filed about 4 weeks ago. Federal return came back maybe 2 weeks ago. This is my first time filing in Louisiana so I was curious how long I should expect it to take.
ETA:
Looks like Louisiana is mailing my refund. Odds it gets accidentally delivered to the governors mansion by mistake?

I have a guy who does mine and until last year I would file it through the mail, which took longer.. Maybe 6-8 months.. Last year, he filed electronically & it took 4-6 weeks.. If I recall.

I don’t know how kind of witch craft you got going on but I’ve never received a Louisiana refund. I always have to pay them.

I got my federal return in a week. I'm expecting the state to take much longer.

The state always takes 3-4 weeks longer than the fed.
Which is ridiculous considering the amount of cases each organization processes.
Most likely, your money is being held hostage by JBE to pass a bloated budget and tax increases on middle class

I filed both on Feb 16. I got my Federal back on Feb 23 and the state has only acknowledged that they received my return but no idea as to when i should expect it. History says it will take about 2 months.

A while. Louisiana refunds can take a couple of months or so. You can call down to the department of revenue, but it's also no guarantee that their phone system is in up and running order either. I think you can check online for an estimate, but I think I remember being told by a department of revenue worker a while ago that it's programmed to give everyone the same answer regardless of anything.

I filed my Fed & LA taxes on Feb. 1st... federal refund took about two weeks, state refund went through Mar. 5th it seems... so a little over 4 weeks.
