I wouldn’t call myself an expert but yes, there seems to be a few males actors, maybe 10 or so, that get a lot of work. That was certainly the case prior to the internet and still seems to be that way now. In straight porn the actors don’t make that much and they are not the focus so they can recycle them effectively. That is somewhat changing as female viewership and boutique studios become more prevalent. The internet democratized porn much like music so the consumer doesn’t have to rely on a handful of studios or actors anymore.
Important skill sets for male actors seem to be: size, control of ejaculation, quantify of ejaculant and physical fitness (although if imagine most are on some type of steroids for fat reduction.)
