They are saying both. The one in the east had a pic taken, but given to LE, instead of The Inquirer. They say they saw him multiple times.
The west rumor has more people saying they have seen him.

laundrie family believe BL is alive and still in florida...which leads me to believe he could be in any of the other 49 states

Well, if we don't and they don't eventually release the cause of death, this weird arse case is going to get even weirder.
I think they're likely waiting on toxicology results.

it's not really known what evidence they do or don't have, but i believe someone (possibly an attorney or LE) posted earlier in this thread that after filing a murder charge there is only a limited amount of time before they have to go to trial...since BL is missing, they may be holding off on that.

But it’s not that weird if you take into account the reason they are not telling you the manner of death.
Ask yourself this simple test
if she was his only victim and hes not wanted for anything else then why wouldn’t they tell you how he killed her? In other words the only logical reason they could be so tight lipped is because she ain’t they only one.

Here is an article from an uninvolved attorney saying they probably know where he is, but are waiting to capture him.
