Not sure why anyone would think a misdemeanor would keep this guy from flying.

Also, being less than 2 years from retirement at United - he may not even make it through the punitive process from the company before he hits 65. I hope he enjoys his paid time off.

yep, he's probably got enough sick/vacation time to glide out but UAL is risking a pretty substantial suit if they don't reinstate him ASAP, given past precedence
