Anyone that thinks this is going to have a long term impact on United can go hang out with the other snowflakes.
I think you're forgetting the market share in China that is currently burning down on weibo.
Those Chinamen could sink united if they wanted.

Congratulations, United Airlines, your social media nightmare has gone global.
The airline was at the center of a social media firestorm on Monday after videos posted on Facebook and Twitter showed one of its passengers being dragged off a flight. They each garnered millions of views, going viral and giving the internet a convenient target for directing its rage.
While #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos continues to be a thing on Twitter on Tuesday, it's gotten even more legs in China, where it's the top trending topic on Weibo, the country's most popular social network. Weibo has nearly 500 million active users, with more than 180 million users on the social network discussing United's fiasco, largely driven by the fact that the passenger is Asian. The clip has been viewed more than 210 million times on Weibo.

Do you not understand that the more of these stories come out the less people will use united? It's bad fricking business.
Consider that 4 airlines control 82% of routes in the US. This shite will not affect them too much as people really don't have much of a choice.

Flying at least 5 times a year I have managed to stay away from all 4. Being close to NYC helps, though.

Damn, bro. No wonder you've been all over this story. Total expert.

They are still around and thriving.
I don't recall (no pun intended) them having issues worldwide.

What am I supposed to be an expert in?

You've been on every page of every thread on this subject I've read. On all boards. You've started a few as well. I assumed you had a perspective worth something more than the below average flyer who doesn't fly any of the regular airlines.

Damn. The military doesn't even do this any more for Space A flights.

Sorry to disappoint. I fly almost exclusively JetBlue/Aer Lingus because NYC is a hub for them. I've never flown United.
I have taken an interest in this case because it interested me in terms of what's legally allowed vs what people think is allowed. It's been educating. I am not by any means a total expert.
