If people only knew how common this is. Delta had one a couple weeks ago when it snowed. Probably happens once or twice a month.

It’s a lot like train derailments being a big story after the one in Ohio. They happen pretty often. They aren’t national news.
The media latches on to any related story after something big happens because it will catch eyes.
“Oh no air travel is so dangerous now”. As if the last few years of near collisions, engine fires, and poor maintenance never happened.
