but Continental mgmt is calling the shots, making the policies/business model post merger
They had really improved their image and service years ago.
I never cared for United based on their hiring practices of pilots. If you were a woman or "of color", you were guaranteed a job with United once you got a couple thousand hours regardless of your skills. I knew several of them.

that was brought on by law suits and the threat of law suits, other big airlines were forced to follow suit(pun intended,) it got pretty ugly there for a while

that requirement was waived, as was the "skills" requirement

Lol no I keep my space clear for my feet. If I'm going to block my space, I prefer to do it with my own things.

I would love for this to happen. Get to my destination for free plus additional comps?
Why does this only happen to whiny bitches that don't deserve the luck?

standards were altered for "special" people, as were flight time requirements, and this is in an area where pc should never broach, but does, flow through people are what's taking its place now

2. He's fricking 2.
I think the point was to show he was 3 months passed the cut-off for having a seat.

I'm sure the flying public doesn't mind that their safety is sacrificed in the name of "diversity".

Don't be a bitch, Martini. Quite a few of you had been harping on the kid's age.
Yes Lunchbox was making fun of her calling a 27 month old an infant and I was pointing out that maybe it was possibly misspoke. Read the context before you call it out chief.

You expect me to follow the intricacies of a tête-à-tête between you and LNCHBOX? Don't flatter yourself, "chief". Drink your vodka "martinis" with the rest of the women and stop being pissy.

The employee may have assumed but even an infant has a boarding pass so that's not likely she forgot.
I'll bet on the human error before the computer system error.

Free flights for life....I could rack up seven figures in flights. I would make the bastards pay

If you are going to comment on them then fricking follow them. If not shut the frick up and read on and quit being pissy yourself.

I would require compensation for their screw up. SOP that requires no whining and certainly wouldn't require whining to local media, which is what people who aren't idiots understood me to mean in my post.
Bitch
Bitch

The fact of the matter is that anyone over 24 months has to have their own ticket and own seat and has to be seated and buckled into that seat. So United flying with a 27 month old in a mother's lap was against the law.
100% United's fault and someone will be fired for this. Anyone that sides with the airline in this case would not be the brightest crayon in the lnchbox.

I dont care about the compensation so much as the fact that many passengers think they cant question the airlines when they put their children in danger. Or if they do they get Dao'd and dragged down the aisle.
