The protestors are about to procure a whole lot of riot gear, and hostages to exchange for imprisoned protestors.

I'd let them leave as long as they left their weapons behind.

notice how they have a path cleared for the berkut to leave. they'll probably have them give up their shields and weapons if they let them leave

Nah there are something like 4000 uniformed Berkut in the country; not sure how many in Kyiv but I doubt they'd stick them all there.

If they really want them to come out they shouldn't make a narrow gauntlet out of the exit like that. If I were Berkut I'm not walking through that. They maybe should get to the other side of the street.

Well, you don't want them to rearm and come back, and they do have imprisoned protestors to think about. I'd hold onto them. That could look bad though.

nah, the parliament building is what they're trying to get to (the street the front lines are on) but the police are blocking them, thats what started the siege on the fron tlines with the barricades and fires

I'm sure they're thinking long and hard about how they're gonna be treated.

they don't have the capability to take them prisoner, these people need to get back to the front line.. and this way they could come away with some good shields
