Nope. I specifically said university for a reason.

Well, I’ll need to know the reason since public education is the key, not whether it’s a university or secondary. It’s the same constitutional protection of free speech.

Hmmm, how would that excuse work out for others...

Well they said that in public then found a technicality to attempt to kick him out so probably the same.

There's a reason they can't just kick him out. They would've done that if it were that easy.

Nope, not the same.

There are all sorts of things you can’t do and say when educating minors, and codes of conduct have repeatedly been ruled constitutional in those circumstances. There are loads of things people get fired for all the time in high schools - not just racist stuff - that would never fly at a university.

Nope. I live consistency.

You can’t find a good example of a public university firing a conservative for public and open speech because there isn’t one.

I never introduced conservative into the equation. I said fired over racist comments in the public sector, and there are countless examples to pick from. A very simple google search will give you countless examples of public educators being fired over racist remarks or the actions. You’re tying to apply this to university level only because you know that tenure comes into play. What you fail to factor into this mr. consistent is that if the argument is over free speech rights regarding government institutions, you are dead wrong.

Does this get considered a hate crime and negate freedom of speech, or does freedom of speech trump all.

Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want whenever you want. They need to remove the protection from Twitter, Instagram, etc., and force them to fold their users accountable.

Freedom of speech is a thing.

So many people do not understand that Freedom of Speech does not mean that you are free to say anything you want to say anytime you want to say it without consequences.

I really like when life has consequences. Any race of people can not just have free range to say anything they please with no consequences.

This is good
