He is a great interview and the kind of bold personality needed in his profession.
He's a legit badass, and I personally like him as a fighter and for his outlandish antics.

Heck, I haven't even kept up with UFC for some time, but I see little snippets of things he says or does here and there on the internet, and I think he's pretty awesome based on that stuff alone.

IMO, if UFC wants to be more of a sport, and not entertainment only, they need much less of this shite. Sure it hypes him up, but I have more respect for the guys who respect the sport and each other.

Sadly, this is why UFC is becoming more and more like WWE. It's lost most of it's fanbase, and it's losing me.

What do mean? It's losing you because their top athletes sometimes make more money than most vets?
That's like saying you won't watch the NFL because their #1 rookie draft pick got a bigger contract than a multiple pro bowl player. That draft picks contract is based solely on speculation, they might be a flop. It happens. It's no different than what the UFC is doing with Conor. They are speculating that he will be great, and his fight contracts reflect that thought.
Let's not forget that the biggest draw of all time was GSP, who barely spoke English much less shite talked his opponents.

I agree with this. I used to be a UFC fan, but now it's too much like WWE with the clown shows that guys like McGregor puts on. He is what makes UFC douchey to me with his acts he puts on about money.
