I don't know about that, it sounds like he is just one of those people that is pro union and pro government regulating business.

Uber is awesome. They pretty much came in and wrecked it in DC and forced the DC cab commission to make some drastic changes such as....ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS :omg:

It must've been, I've never even heard of Uber X. The only distinction I have on the app is whether I want a black car or an suv. Regardless, I can't wait to have it in Nola and not have to deal with cabs there.

I used it in new York about a dozen times while I was there... Absolutely loved it. I did NOT find Uber to be cheaper than the cabs, but it was worth they extra few dollars. I always choose Uber black but frequently got a ride in a Suv (Suburban, Expedition, BMW, etc).

Uber >>>>> Carmel Limo sucks.
