Everytime I glance and see Bryce Williams, I read Brian Williams

I can't wait to hear his first person account of the events today

You think those thoughts just magically got in his head all by themselves?

They haven't published the whole thing yet. It was 23 pages long, according to what I read. But ABC News has posted the highlights. I saw the link on twitter.

There have been enough excerpts from it to see some of the things that influenced his actions.

What sent me over the top was the church shooting. And my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them," ABC News reported the manifesto said.

The writer continued, “As for Dylann Roof? You (deleted)! You want a race war (deleted)? BRING IT THEN YOU WHITE …(deleted)!!!”

The ABC report also says the writer expressed admiration towards the Columbine High School shooters and called the Virginia Tech mass killer, Seung Hui Cho, “his boy.”

If he was that deranged, we are lucky there were only 2 deaths. But now we have a new live tweet go pro precedent.

So this guy was motivated by the Charleston Church shooter....

quote:

“The church shooting was the tipping point"

And the Charleston shooter said he was motivated by black on white crime....

quote:

“You rape our women and you’re taking over our country — and you have to go,”

Where does it end?

I'm not arguing that, just curious if someone posted the entire manifesto...

There's race-baiting and a lot of hate-mongering going on, for sure. But it's a bit of a leap from hateful rhetoric to planning and committing cold-blooded murder. That takes someone with a screw loose.

The media should tone it down, definitely. I just don't think they caused it.

They aren't the sole cause, nor the main one. But they definitely play a part in things like this. If media reported facts, riots over Trayvon and Mike Brown never happen. Perhaps things like this may not happen either.

Excerps from the manifesto from the Daily Mail

quote:

He writes that he's been attacked by black men and white women as he discusses the difficulties of going through life as a gay man of color.

He liked the VT shooter better though - he took out more people. Guy was a nut job.
