On the Division 3 VA St Troop Scanner the dispatch advised that their intel on the suspect was that a second person was feeding him information or communicating with the suspect. I would guess they figured that from using Stingray or some similar technology to monitor his cell phone. At one point the dispatcher even advised via BOLO that said second person might be with suspect.
I have been waiting for them to say something about that.
Also, does anyone who knows about stingray want to share any info on why they couldn't track him down quicker using it? I thought it could triangulate very quickly?

That's fine if you disagree. But the underlying message he espoused... is one of hate, perceived discrimination and assigning blame to other races for his failures. He was a racist who espoused hate. He was evil. Evil is not a mental illness. IMHO, of course.

I am not saying someone was helping him, just trying to put everything together.
Also, anyone know how the process of uploading a video from a GoPro to twitter? Could it be done while involved in a police chase easily?

The police dispatcher relayed info to the units that according to their technology sources the suspect was being fed information by someone (her words).
Now that I see the story above about him calling the news station, their monitoring of his cell phone and the calls he was making may have made them think that?

don't think it was a GoPro. just a camera phone. so he could easily upload the video while on the run.
