I do not. I don't watch Fox either. I think all cable news is bad news.

The media should report stories and provide facts.

The MSM in this country should be ashamed of what they have become. And I blame them for most all of the division we have today.

Cool, I agree with all this

You don’t understand how media works, clearly.

It originates with CNN and then is spread to other news outlets and media sources that people of all political viewpoints may frequent. Like the OP, who posted a link to a NO news page.

But you’re right, CNN just really cares about these poor kids and in no way wants you to feel a responsibility to them by guilting you into doing as you’re told

Holy shite, how pathetic that your response to this discussion is whataboutism of trump?

He's really living in your head at this point.

And your response indicates exactly where your you head is living at this point. How's it looking in there?

Also, never claimed that CNN “cared” - that’s what you started rambling about, not me.

There are two kids without parents who are getting attention drawn to their gofundme account that was linked in the article, so if nothing else, the end justifies the means.

That is to say - I don’t care about CNN, and they never entered my mind when I saw this story.

You went on some weird conspiracy rant obsessing about them.

That’s the whole issue, homie.

Instead of the media trying to scare everyone shitless, they should be explaining the dangers of morbid obesity.

This story alone justifies a complete shut down of all societal functions on Earth...

Articles like this are human interest stories

No, they’re not. A human interest story would focus on this kids or focus on the brother taking them in. This article focuses on the fact that “corona virus left these two boys orphaned”. Never mind that both adults had major medical issues and health concerns outside of this virus.

The origina local article may have been human interest but what was quoted by CNN certainly wasn’t.

An aside - we’re attracted to people with dissimilar immune systems. So this is very unlikely, statistically.

All this article does is confirm that obesity and diabetes + covid = bad

If you have those issues stay home and stay away from family

Just fyi, not all diabetics are fat.
