The thing about Atlanta is gentrified or not, thugs are upwardly mobile. There's not really anywhere ITP you can get far away from it and very few places in the entire metro you can get away from it.

It’s hilarious. I get why some people on here don’t like Atlanta it is far from perfect and has issues like any big city core does but there has been a massive demographic shift here the last 20 years. People comment that haven’t been here or that stayed downtown where nobody goes anymore and has become one big homeless encampment.
Of the 50% of black people left in the city something like 60% of that number is aged 60 or older. Black population here is simply dying out or moving. The White and Asian demographic is extremely young in comparison.

The biggest issue with Atlanta (at least midtown and downtown) are the criminally insane homeless population. The thugs tend to be on the outskirts now.

I’ll be honest I haven’t been down there I want to try the hot dog place and a few of the other places. I have a few co workers that bought in the big development down there that is the European style homes that are real close together that surrounds the old parking lots at Turner Field. They have put so much nice shite down there it’s hard to keep up. I know a Publix and other stuff is going in now. Anyone that bought there in the last 2 years is sitting on tons of equity already.

It has zero local culture. Has immense suburban sprawl. Downtown blows. Traffic blows. Sports teams have no local support. Crime is out of control. Democrats. Bullets. Murder. Theft. Rape.
